  A UTF-8 path relative to the Byte workspace.
</ParamField>

## Returns

<ResponseField name="paths" type="{string}">
  Workspace-relative immediate child paths of the selected directory.
</ResponseField>

Empty/nil path means the workspace root. Returns workspace-relative entries, not a recursive tree.
