title: "firetouchinterest"
description: "Calls the native touch-interest handler with two part primitives."
---

```lua
firetouchinterest(a: BasePart, b: BasePart, toggle: number): ()
```

---

## Aliases

None.

---

## Arguments

<ParamField body="a" type="BasePart" required>
  The first Instance.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="b" type="BasePart" required>
  The second Instance.
</ParamField>

<ParamField body="toggle" type="number" required>
  Touch state: conventionally 0 for begin and 1 for end.
</ParamField>

---

## Returns

This function returns no values.

Convention is 0 for begin, 1 for end. The wrapper forwards the numeric toggle without range validation; invalid part primitives raise.

a:Destroy()
b:Destroy()
